Cossipore Royal Palace's Gopal Jiu's Temple: T oday I went to a historic place called  Cossipore Royal Palace in Kolkata.Wich was situated on the bank side of the river Hoogly/Ganges.It was a precious day to me that finally, I reached this place at once in my life.  River Side View H. Cotton   writes, "The Cossipore Reach was one of the finest on the river, and is lined by a number of villa residences."  From those days Cossipore had some industrial units. – the Government Gun Foundry, the Snider and Rifle Shell factories (originally constructed by Colonel Hutchinson), sugar mills, and jute screw house s. Nat Mandir Gopal jiu  The main temple is dedicated to Lord Gopal (childhood form of Vishnu) along with two other deities called "Gouranga & Chaitanya". মধ্য কোলকাতার শ্রী শ্রী রাধা  কান্ত জীউ মন্দির । কোলকাতার অলি গলি তে গুলিয়ে গিয়ে আজকের বিকেল টা মধ্য কোলকাতার শ্রী গোবিন্দ বাড়ি খুঁজতেই বেরিয়ে গেলো।  কষ্টি পাথরের কালো কৃষ্ণ আমার বড়ই প্রিয় সেই মূর্তির মধ্যে আমি বাংলার পুরনো গন্ধ খুঁজে পাই তাই এর টানে আমি আজ পর্যন্ত অনেক জায়গাই চিনেছি। তেমনই আজও বেরিয়ে পড়লাম লেবুতলা অঞ্চলের পুরনো ঠাকুর বাড়ির উদ্দেশ্যে। প্রাচী সিনেমাহলের গায়েই সার্পেন্টাইন লেন বরাবর ঢুকতেই লোকের ভীড়ে হঠাৎই চোখে পড়ল একটি হলুদ রঙের বাড়ি, ফলকে লেখা শ্রী রাধা কান্ত জীউর ঠাকুরবাড়ি। স্বর্গীয় কালীচরণ ধর মহাশয় এর প্রতিস্টিত। কৌতুহল আটকাতে না পেরে ঢুকে পড়লাম মন্দিরের ভেতরে। ঢুকতেই দেখি মন্দিরের দরজা বন্ধ ছিল। মন্দিরের ভেতরের দালানটি একেবারে আগেকার বাঙালি জমিদার বাড়ির মত কিন্তু সেখানে কি অদ্ভুত শান্তি বিরাজ করছিল।  আমার দেবতাও আমাকে বেশিক্ষণ অপেক্ষা করতে দেননি। মন্দিরের ভেতরে সুউচ্চ সিংহাসনে শ্রী শ্রী রাধা শ্যামসুন্দর জীউ এবং শ্রী শালিগ্রাম শিলা বিরাজমান। তারা নিত্য পূজিত হয়...
