Cossipore Royal Palace's Gopal Jiu's Temple:

Today I went to a historic place called Cossipore Royal Palace in Kolkata.Wich was situated on the bank side of the river Hoogly/Ganges.It was a precious day to me that finally, I reached this place at once in my life.

H. E. A. Cotton writes, "The Cossipore Reach was one of the finest on the river, and is lined by a number of villa residences." From those days Cossipore had some industrial units. – the Government Gun Foundry, the Snider and Rifle Shell factories (originally constructed by Colonel Hutchinson), sugar mills, and jute screw houses.

Gopal jiu 

The main temple is dedicated to Lord Gopal (childhood form of Vishnu) along with two other deities called "Gouranga & Chaitanya". This deity must be worshipped by the royals of Cossipore. The Gopal jiu was made up of Kasthi Pathor (Kalo Pathor). Almost all occasions are celebrated still now in the temple such as Janmasthami, Dol Purnima, Jhulan Yatra, etc. all occasions are mainly related to Vaisnavas(a sampradaya who worshipping the Vishnu).

The temple has a huge courtyard along with a huge Nat Mandir in front of the main hall also has a big garden.

I walk upstairs to the upper part of the main temple saw a huge Thakur Dalan along with a nice view of the river which is passing by side.  The rest of the building attached is completely broken.
